Standing in a winter sunbeam, Violet my granddaughter, had a post devilry expression. Yet the illumination amplified that lovable inner angel. I almost titled the painting Angel. But, no, she was behaving a bit too precocious for a title like that. 'What Did You Do?' is the verbage that defines her spirit and beauty. A precious moment has become a heavenly hallmark.

The artists porcelain tile portraits are rendered on high quality clear-glazed porcelain tiles. They are created by layering overglaze paints in an oil medium with corresponding kiln-firings. All porcelain tile works can be easily mounted and framed as traditional paintings on canvas.
